Polly says:

Really good idea! When looking for an ice cream maker I found that there were two basic types – expensive ‘no need to freeze anything beforehand’ ones or cheap ‘freeze the bowl first ones’. Both had either the drawback of cost or preparation time.

Catherine Brown says:

Great simple ice cream maker This machine is really easy to use – mix up your recipe, put it in the machine, press the on-switch and put in the freezer! It takes between 2 and 5 hours depending how much ice cream you’re making. It uses batteries – I’m still on my first set and have made lots of ice cream. (But cheap replacements are available from 7dayshop.com)

Pinchbeck says:

Simple. Small. Swift. I received one of these machines for Christmas. It was mid-afternoon on Christmas Day when I unwrapped it, but I still had enough time to make ice-cream for our (early-ish) Christmas tea.
