Corer Was told by a seasoned cupcake maker to buy ordinary apple corer as they are fraction of price, having looked in local and not so local hardwares as well as supermarkets took to amazon where they were same price as cupcake corer. I realise I will never be able to core an apple with my purchase but then never felt the need to, can make some really tasty cupcakes though 🙂
Exactly what I needed… … for making a hundred filled cupcakes for a party. Not really suited for small cupcakes as it cuts quite deep, but perfect for larger cupcakes or muffins, easily and quickly leaving a perfect little well for your filling. And the little morsel of sponge you remove is neatly shaped so you can serve it separately or just eat it yourself…
Cupcake Corer This is a lovely little gadget and it does its job. I would love to see the ‘flower’ around the corer a little bit smaller though, because now it’s too big for my cupcakes and it pushes the paper to the side when I want to core.But all in all a lovely little thing to make holes for my marshmallow cupcakes 🙂
