Vastly superior to the usual flimsy High Street trays One particular annoyance with cutlery trays is that after a while, a badly positioned fork or knife will get stuck whilst opening the cutlery drawer, and snag the plastic tray. This inevitably causes a tear, which will get slowly worse, snagging on the items in the tray and making the tray difficult to clean. Much better than the ones made out of ‘bucket plastic’ from the supermarket! Our previous cutlery tray was the type you get in supermarkets and the cheap shops. The ones made from the plastic used in buckets and draining boards, with holes in it that look like a good idea (you can use it for draining wet cutlery) but in practice make it harder to clean properly.Anyway, this one looks a lot more like the sort of plastic you want near food.
