Too light Received this Steak Weight today and think it is too light. My previous steak weight was much heavier, but it was chrome plated, which eventually peeled hence the replacement. Waffle design on sole looks cool, but don’t know if it adds to the functionality, and may be harder to clean compared with a flat design. Wooden handle could also have done with a couple more coats or laquer, which I may do myself. The handle also slightly bobbly – but not a big deal. All in all, this product is average…

Great Utensil What a difference this steak weight makes when cooking your meat on the griddle pan. No more having steak that has curled up at the sides. Sear Even and easy You are probably thinking – Do I really need this?Like a paper weight for meat?Answer: Yes, it is good and worth it… Searing those bendy steaks is good and even.My opinion… Cool piece of Kitchen kit.
