SO GOOD Nobody was more surprised than me to find out that a Dutch oven is actually a pot with a lid on it.There is a lot more to it than that, apparently a Dutch oven is kind of similar to a Le Creuset dish but half the weight as Le Creuset dishes are cast iron and the GreenPan Dutch oven (snigger) is ceramic and retains moisture better.So the upshot of all this is that the Dutch oven is lighter and as such, its going to be more suitable to elderly cooks or people with issues…

Very Good The saying “You get what you pay for” is something I always keep in mind when buying pots and pans. I bought a set of top-end stainless steel pans with thick copper bottoms many years ago. When they were new they cost a small fortune. 19 years later, they are still as good as new, but technology has moved on and they are not so good on induction hobs. I obtained a number of LeCreuset pans for the hob to oven. They are heavy, but not many people know this, they are guaranteed for life. So long…

I’ve fallen in love with this pan – it’s *almost* perfect This is very nearly the perfect cooking pot. Equally at home in the oven or on the stove. Amazingly lightweight yet every bit as good, even and non-stick as my Le Creuset pans. Actually a couple of the latter are unlikely to see the light of day very often now. Since I got it, I’ve particularly splurged on making stir-fry. It’s perfect for that, for 2 or 3 people.
