Cafetiere versus machine… Game on!!! Makes truly good iced coffee too (see end of review)! Ok… so pod coffee makers do make amazing coffee, but somehow seem to me a selfish extravagance as goes the environmental cost in the difficulty recycling used pods. They are also a wasteful and an expensive way to make coffee..Yes.. pods were out for me, which left continuing with my trusty cafetiere or going for a traditional coffee maker..Looking at independant reviews, this coffee maker was and is pretty much near the top of the class but carries a budget circa forty quid price…
Best coffee machine Iâve had I like to be honest about my reviews and this is no different.The headline says it all. Itâs marvellous. Very easy to clean. Try all strength settings before you decide to hate this. Iâd like to reply to the review saying about the plasticy taste.I have noticed a slight plasticy taste only when using the preset 4 cup strengthIf I set the strength myself there is only coffee no other horrid or weird tastes.All in all I love it.
