18 months in and handle fell off. Bought this 2 years ago almost to the day. Worked well and produced nice espresso, until the handle fell off a few months ago. Was welded, so I couldn’t reattach. I carried on using it without any impact on the quality of the coffee, just a bit fiddly as I’m wrapping a towel around it to lift it off the stove top… Not ideal. Am shopping for a replacement now as the rubber gasket (seal) is also failing. I think the seal lasted pretty well for the length of time I’ve been using the product and…

I bought the “4 cup” size – wouldn’t make 4 … I bought the “4 cup” size – wouldn’t make 4 shot glasses. My fault I guess for not checking what 160ml is in terms of a standard mug. (Half a mug…) I’ll give this to a charity shop, and keep looking for a decent coffee maker.
