I put mine in the dish washer and so far so good touch wood Just what I needed! I have been using this every day for a while now and it does what it is meant to do. I read some people’s reviews saying it felt apart.. these type of coffee plungers tend to disassemble with use what I normally do is once in a while I check that everything is still screwed tight and I tighten it up if it is a bit loose.I put mine in the dish washer and so far so good touch wood.

The plunger drops… The plunger thingy would not stay up on it’s own, so after making the coffee, you have to sit there like an idiot holding it for however long you need to. Amazon were great about the refund, but I thought I would rate purely on the product, which honestly I am surprised that we are the only one with this malfunction?

Quality has plunged The first one I ordered was perfect, did the job, good design, sturdy enough, travelled with me around the world. After I accidentally dropped it on the floor, I ordered another one and it was a disaster: the plunge bit disintegrated into constituent parts within but a few days and as I was away on a trip, I was not able to have it replaced. Now I’m stuck with a barely performing piece.
