Stick it into the soup pan and job done Simple is best, I don’t want a host of accessories I already have or don’t need. This smart stick blender is all of a piece, you rinse the end under the tap to clean. Takes a matter of seconds. It made short work of a huge pan of roasted butter nut squash and red pepper soup for its first challenge, and I found it more than satisfactory. Cheerful to look at too.

Robust and works well I didn’t want to spend too much on a hand blender. Lost of them have lots of accessories I don’t need having a Kenwood food processor. It works really well and for the price is extremely robust.

A Disappointment It did work well for the one week I had it. Had to return it as the couplings at the base started to rust. Wasn’t a good sign especially only used it 4 times. Performance wise it’s ok blending, quite noisy. Base solid enough to stand still when blending but not too heavy to lift for storage. It’s a shame they didn’t use rust-resistant metal for some parts. Cheap for what it’s promised to do, but didn’t live up to the promises.Amazon offered a replacement, and that one rusted too…
